On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), on the morning of August 24, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres in Quynh Luu commune, Nho Quan district.
Also attending were leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office; leaders of Nho Quan district.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation visited and presented gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres: Luong Thi Ruoc, born in 1920, in Doi Tho village; Vu Duc Que, born in 1928, in Xuan Que village; Nguyen Van Lung, born in 1924, in Xanh village.
At the places he visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc kindly inquired about the health of the veteran revolutionary cadres and their families. At the same time, he was happy to see that the elderly were healthy and clear-minded, and were cared for and looked after by their families and local authorities. Appreciating the contributions of the veteran revolutionary cadres in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The veteran revolutionaries are a valuable asset of the country, a spiritual support for today's generations.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the veteran revolutionary cadres good health and longevity, always being a spiritual support to encourage their children and grandchildren to promote the revolutionary tradition of their family and hometown, to strive to study, work, do good work, promote family economic development, build a prosperous and happy life, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality... He hoped that the veteran revolutionary cadres would always be a shining example of the will and determination of revolutionaries for today's young generation and generations of children and grandchildren to learn from and follow.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that caring for families with meritorious services and people with revolutionary contributions is a fine tradition and morality of the Vietnamese people, as well as the sentiment and responsibility of all people. In recent years, Ninh Binh province has paid special attention to the work of "Repaying gratitude", caring for families with meritorious services and people with revolutionary contributions through specific and practical actions.
