On the afternoon of April 26th, Comrade Duong Duc Huy, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, along with a delegation from the province and Bao Yen district, visited and presented gifts to the relatives of martyrs and those who participated in the civilian labor force during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently living in Bao Yen district.
In Vinh Yen commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the families of wartime laborers, namely Ms. Co Thi Thon, Ms. Hoang Thi Nguyen, Ms. Co Thi Hin, Ms. Hoang Thi Tien, Mr. Hoang Van Ran, and Ms. Hoang Thi Kinh. In Tan Duong commune, the delegation visited the family of martyr Hoang Nghia Thinh.

During their visits, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Duong Duc Huy, and leaders of Bao Yen district cordially inquired about the health and living conditions of the veterans who had participated in the civilian labor force during the war and the families of fallen soldiers; expressing their respect and gratitude for their contributions to the resistance war against the French, which helped the whole country achieve the Dien Bien Phu Victory , "renowned throughout the world and shaking the earth."

Representatives of the families all expressed their delight at being visited by the delegation from the province and Bao Yen district, receiving gifts and encouragement. They also affirmed that they would always cherish and preserve the glorious revolutionary traditions of their families, and work together to build a more developed Bao Yen homeland, transforming it into a new rural district.
