Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the trial operation of the 2-level local government in Phu Yen

On June 24, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the pilot operation of the commune-level local government according to the 2-level local government model in Suoi To and Muong Coi communes, Phu Yen district.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the Public Administration Center of Muong Coi Commune, Phu Yen District.

From July 1, 2025, Phu Yen district will be reduced from 25 commune-level administrative units to 8 communes, including: Phu Yen, Gia Phu, Tuong Ha, Muong Coi, Muong Bang, Tan Phong, Kim Bon, Suoi To.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the facilities, equipment, and the handling of administrative procedures at the Public Administration Centers of the communes. Up to now, Phu Yen district has completed the arrangement of personnel, facilities, working conditions, and the testing of the operation of the two-level local government.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Phu Yen district to continue directing the assurance of conditions regarding facilities, equipment, security and order, to be ready to officially operate the new administrative unit from July 1.
