Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the trial operation of the 2-level local government in Phu Yen

On June 24, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the pilot operation of the commune-level local government according to the 2-level local government model in Suoi To and Muong Coi communes, Phu Yen district.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the Public Administrative Center of Muong Coi commune, Phu Yen district.

From July 1st, 2025, Phu Yen district will reduce its administrative units at the commune level from 25 to 8 communes, including: Phu Yen, Gia Phu, Tuong Ha, Muong Coi, Muong Bang, Tan Phong, Kim Bon, and Suoi To.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the facilities, equipment, and the handling of administrative procedures at the Public Administrative Centers of the communes. To date, Phu Yen district has completed the arrangement of personnel, facilities, working conditions, and the trial operation of the two-tiered local government.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Phu Yen district to continue directing efforts to ensure the necessary conditions regarding infrastructure, equipment, and security and order, so that the new administrative unit can officially operate from July 1st.
