On March 27, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced that the project "Application of deep learning in automatic music composition, orientation for preservation and development of Southern amateur music" by two students Nguyen Tan Duc and Ha Nhat Bao - Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City - was selected by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate in the International Science and Technology Fair 2025 (ISEF 2025).

These students will participate in ISEF 2025 in person from May 10 to 16 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. This is the only project of Ho Chi Minh City students selected by the Ministry of Education and Training for ISEF 2025.

The project "Application of deep learning in automatic music composition, orientation for preservation and development of Southern amateur music" by two students Tan Duc and Nhat Bao is one of 12 projects that won first prize in the National Science and Technology Competition for the 2024-2025 school year, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training for high school students, and was awarded on March 21.

Accordingly, these two students have successfully researched and created an AI tool that can create captivating Southern folk music with just written requests from users.
