Recently, a series of articles have been circulating on social networks questioning the financial transparency of the “Nuoi Em” project - a program connecting philanthropists to provide nutritious lunches and necessities for children in disadvantaged mountainous areas.
Specifically, an account on Threads shared that it received a child support code and paid in August 2025. In November, this person was texted by the project to continue paying for the 2025-2026 school year. Paying twice in 3 months made this person wonder.

Another account said that the adopted child was removed from the list in January 2025, but it was not until December 2025 that the Nurturing Child project notified the adopter. It is worth mentioning that in August 2025, the project still texted this person asking about paying money to raise that child.
Another account asked about receiving a foster code but then checked and found out that their foster code was the same as someone else's foster code.
Although it has been operating for many years, donations are still mainly received through personal accounts (founder Hoang Hoa Trung), which also makes many people doubt the transparency of the donations.
In response to these doubts, Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung - founder and project manager - said that in recent days (especially on December 6), Nuoi Em has received many opinions and questions related to the transparency of the project on social networking platforms.
“First of all, Nuoi Em would like to respectfully acknowledge all issues, questions and goodwill comments that have been shared on official media channels and social networks. Immediately after receiving the information, the project managers promptly held a meeting with key members to check and compare information. We have currently recorded the following information and will continue to record it, and will have a response tonight, December 7, at 10 p.m.,” said Mr. Trung.
According to Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung, up to now, the project has recorded a number of issues that the online community is wondering about, such as: " Paying for August 2025 (paying for the 2024-2025 school year) and then receiving a notice to continue paying for November 2025 (for the 2025-2026 school year) for the same code. Why is the 2025 tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year collected? The policy for children in mountainous areas to go to school according to Decree 66/2025/ND-CP, what will Nuoi Em use that money for?
1 code has 2 children in 2 years without notice? Why does the project use personal accounts? Or is there information that the government can raise 2-3 year old children, so how will the project's money be handled? Where does the project get the money to operate and maintain the project? How do we know that we are not raising the same code to raise children? Or when looking at the group's pictures of eating, we don't see the children? The volunteers' responses are like closing the sale, reminding and urging like debt collection? "...
Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung shared: “We see this incident as a valuable opportunity for the entire Nuoi Em team to promptly identify and thoroughly resolve outstanding issues during the operation process. We will summarize the information that everyone has asked to work with the school and local authorities, and ask for more opinions to complete it when necessary. We commit that all emails and support requests will be responded to within the expected 24 working hours.”
The project founder and operator also affirmed that the project operates with a spirit of transparency and openness by being willing to coordinate with press agencies and authorities to provide additional information with the aim of allowing the community and stakeholders to have an objective and multi-dimensional view of the entire incident.
