Domestic retail gas prices continue to increase for the fourth consecutive month.

Domestic retail gas prices in November will continue to rise in line with world prices, starting tomorrow, November 1st. This marks the fourth consecutive month that domestic retail gas prices have been adjusted upwards.

The retail price of Petrolimex gas cylinders (including VAT) in Hanoi for November 2024 is 467,300 VND/12kg household cylinder; and 1,869,200 VND/48kg industrial cylinder, representing increases of 11,200 VND/12kg cylinder and 44,900 VND/48kg cylinder respectively (including VAT).

Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Head of the Commercial and Residential Gas Business Department - Petrolimex Gas Corporation, said that the gas price in November increased due to the average world gas price contract in November at 632.5 USD/ton, an increase of 10 USD/ton compared to October and exchange rate fluctuations, so Petrolimex Gas Corporation made adjustments according to the corresponding increase.

Similarly, Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company (Gas South) also adjusted retail gas prices upwards in November for the following brands: Gas Dầu Khí, VT-Gas, A Gas, Đăk Gas, JP Gas, and Đặng Phước Gas.

Specifically, the price of gas increased by 833 VND/kg compared to the previous month, equivalent to an increase of 10,000 VND per 12kg cylinder and 37,500 VND per 45kg cylinder, applicable to the Eastern and Southwestern regions of Vietnam.

With this increase, the retail price of gas for consumers will be 507,900 VND/12kg cylinder and 1,906,081 VND/45kg cylinder (including VAT).

Thus, from the beginning of the year until now, domestic retail gas prices have increased 7 times, decreased 3 times, and remained unchanged once.
