Pepper price in Gia Lai increased by 2,000 VND, currently at 139,000 VND/kg

(GLO)- Pepper prices today (August 1) increased by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Gia Lai, pepper is currently at 139,000 VND/kg after increasing by 2,000 VND/kg.

With the same increase as Gia Lai , pepper in Lam Dong province is being purchased by traders at 140,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak , pepper price today increased by 1,500 VND per kg, to 139,500 VND/kg.

In Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, pepper prices today are both at 139,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In the world market, pepper prices fluctuated in opposite directions. Accordingly, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper is currently at 7,078 USD/ton, down 0.44%; the price of Muntok white pepper is recorded at 9,894 USD/ton, down 0.43%.

In the Brazilian market, ASTA 570 black pepper is purchased at USD 6,000/ton. In Malaysia, the price of ASTA black pepper is still at USD 8,900/ton; the price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper is USD 11,750/ton.

For Vietnam, the price of 500g/l black pepper is currently at 6,140 USD/ton and 550g/l is currently at 6,270 USD/ton; the price of white pepper is currently at 8,850 USD/ton.
