On May 15, news from the Office of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province said that Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, has just signed a decision to allow Mr. Trinh Huu Hung, Director of the Department of Health, to retire early according to Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated November 20, 2014.
Mr. Trinh Huu Hung was allowed to retire early according to his personal wishes.
According to the above decision, Mr. Hung will be able to retire early to enjoy insurance benefits from July 1, 2023. Previously, Mr. Trinh Huu Hung submitted a resignation letter to seek medical treatment. From April 1, Mr. Nguyen Ba Can, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, was assigned to run the department.
Mr. Trinh Huu Hung (58 years old, from Yen Dinh district) was appointed as Director of the Department of Health in December 2015. In December 2022, Mr. Hung was disciplined by the Central Inspection Committee with a warning for violating Party regulations and State laws in bidding and purchasing biological products, chemicals, and medical supplies for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
In addition to Mr. Hung, Mr. Luong Ngoc Truong, Director of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Thanh Hoa province, was also disciplined with a warning.
