Ham Yen district works with Vietnam Paper Corporation.
The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project through Ham Yen district is over 47 km long. Currently, Ham Yen district has 253 households and 4 organizations, 462 plots, total area of 70.9 hectares related to land of forestry companies in the land acquisition work serving the construction of Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway (phase 1). The district compensation council has met to consider 9/9 communes; 129 households, 248 plots, total area of 37.11 hectares for the forestry land area of forestry companies returned to the communes and towns for management since 2012, 2013 to consider applying compensation to households that meet the conditions according to regulations.
Currently, there are still some problems between households and forestry companies such as cases of households using and encroaching before the time of land allocation and granting of certificates to forestry companies, cases of households using and encroaching on land plots that have been granted land use right certificates to forestry companies.
Ham Yen District requested Vietnam Paper Corporation to consider issuing a document to pay in advance an area of 28.69 hectares for the expressway project. At the same time, submit for approval a plan to return and adjust changes in the land area that has been granted land use right certificates of Forestry Companies for the District Compensation Council to meet and consider if eligible, compensation will be made according to the 2024 Land Law and Government Decrees.
