(NLDO)- Thousands of people attended the opening ceremony of the Huong Pagoda Festival in the spring of At Ty 2025 in the spring rain and cold.

On February 3 (January 6, At Ty year), the Huong Pagoda Festival officially opened at Huong Son scenic relic site, My Duc district, Hanoi with the theme "Huong Pagoda Festival, tourist destination, culture, Vietnamese tradition". The festival will take place for 3 months, until May 1.

According to records, the opening ceremony of Huong Pagoda in the spring of At Ty took place in a light spring rain. Many people who came early to attend the opening ceremony had to bring umbrellas and raincoats to avoid getting wet. The road to Huong Pagoda was very crowded with people carrying offerings to the pagoda to worship Buddha.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of My Duc District People's Committee, Mr. Dang Van Canh - Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Huong Pagoda Festival - said that through the festival activities, it will contribute to propagating and educating generations about the sense of responsibility in participating in preserving, promoting and exploiting cultural values ​​associated with socio -economic development; at the same time, promoting the cultural values ​​of Huong Pagoda Festival and the value of the complex of special National Monuments associated with the potential and strengths of tourism development of My Duc district to a large number of people in the country and international tourists.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year there are nearly 4,000 boats and ferries ready to ensure safety to welcome visitors. On the boats there are sunshades, free drinking water, trash cans... With such a number of boats, Huong Pagoda can welcome about 50,000 - 60,000 visitors/day.

In addition, the Organizing Committee has also issued electronic tickets for sightseeing integrated with the use of boat transportation services. Each boatman has a QR code for the cooperative to manage, each boat has a QR code to interact with feedback information about the boatman's service attitude towards tourists. Boat service time for tourists starts from 4:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day.

Since early morning, many tourists have lined up through the ticket gate to get on the boat at Yen wharf to visit Huong Pagoda.
