TPO – On the evening of January 2, right after the final whistle, thousands of people poured into the streets of Da Nang city center to celebrate the victory of the Vietnamese team in the first leg final match against Thailand.

According to Tien Phong on the evening of January 2, on Nguyen Van Linh, Bach Dang, Dien Bien Phu streets and the Dragon Bridge area, a sea of people marched one after another to celebrate Vietnam's victory.

The sound of trumpets echoed everywhere, mixed with the shouts of Vietnam champion. The red flag with yellow star fluttered in the wind, creating a vibrant and emotional scene.

Mr. Pham Xuan Hoang (residing in Thanh Khe district) said: I am very happy that the Vietnamese team won the first leg of the final. The players had a great match, bringing many emotions to the fans.

Motorbikes and cars paraded through the streets, people waved flags and sang songs of encouragement.

Many families took their children out for a swim in the joy of victory.

Many groups of young people joined in the celebration, creating a spirit of solidarity and love of football.

Foreign tourists excitedly took to the streets to celebrate with the Vietnamese people.

Police forces must constantly regulate and block off to ensure people's safety during storms.

Pham Thu Trang also felt very happy when Vietnam won. “Sharing the joy with the whole country, my lover and I also went to the storm. I hope the Vietnam team will play well in the return match to bring glory to the country,” Thu Trang said.
