Eagerly awaiting the start of the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival, orchards and production facilities are urgently preparing high-quality goods to introduce to consumers.
The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an opportunity for businesses to promote their products and brands.
Tra Son Cooperative (Can Loc) is one of the well-known farms in Thuong Loc, the "capital" of oranges. The cooperative currently collaborates in production and product distribution with many households in the Tra Son area, cultivating over 100 hectares of land for orange production. It has also been selected by Can Loc district to participate in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival in recent years.
This year, when the district announced the festival plan, the cooperative registered for a booth. The cooperative is currently focusing on preparations to participate in the festival this weekend.
Tra Son Cooperative participated in the Red River Delta - Hai Phong Trade Fair 2023.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa – representative of Tra Son Cooperative – shared: “Having just returned from the Red River Delta Trade Fair – Hai Phong 2023 on November 20th, we are busy preparing for the orange festival. Our cooperative's products are known to consumers under the brand name Xuan Hoa Thuong Loc crispy oranges, which have received OCOP 4-star certification and are produced according to VietFarm standards. Currently, Xuan Hoa oranges are available in most provinces and cities nationwide. Although the price is high, in previous orange festivals, our citrus and crispy orange products have been trusted and chosen by many people. Based on our experience from previous participations, we plan to bring about 3 tons to the festival to introduce to the people and tourists.”
Recognizing the positive effects and benefits of participating in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival in previous years, this year, Son Yen orange farm (Phuc Dong commune, Huong Khe district) has registered for a booth.
This year, Son Yen orange farm is expected to produce nearly 25 tons of oranges.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Son, owner of Son Yen orange farm, said: “We currently have about 2 hectares of oranges and lemons, and this year's yield is estimated at nearly 25 tons. At this time, the oranges are ripening, and we have already harvested and brought to market about 300 kg of oranges. Participating in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an opportunity we cannot miss to promote the Huong Khe orange brand to consumers. We expect to bring about 200-300 kg of oranges to the festival on the first day, and we will transport more depending on consumption. In some years, we have sold more than 2 tons of oranges at the festival. We hope that this year Son Yen oranges will continue to be chosen by many customers.”
Chín Hồng sausage and ham production facility (Hưng Trí ward, Kỳ Anh town) is a "new face" participating in this year's Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival. Therefore, the facility has carried out thorough and meticulous preparations.
This year marks the first time Chín Hồng sausage and ham production facility has participated in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival, so the facility is very excited.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, the owner of the establishment, said: "Our pork sausage product received OCOP 3-star certification in April 2023, which has helped us gain the trust of many people and expand our market. This is our first time participating in the Orange Festival, so we are very excited. Besides pork sausage, our establishment is also bringing many other products to the festival such as sausages, smoked ham, boneless pork leg, and pork sausage with herbs... With careful preparation, we hope that through the Orange Festival and the agricultural products of Ha Tinh, the Chin Hong brand of pork sausage will become widely known to consumers, thereby increasing sales of our products."
The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an annual event eagerly awaited by many orange growers and production facilities in the province. The festival is a chance to introduce, promote, and sell products, as well as find potential customers. Even though it's the end of the year and many production facilities are busy producing goods for the Lunar New Year, they still want to bring their products to the festival.
This year, the Chien Thang Seafood Purchasing and Processing Cooperative (Ky Ninh commune, Ky Anh town) will bring its products such as fish sauce, shrimp paste, jellyfish, etc., to the festival.
Mr. Truong Van Thuan, Director of the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade), said: “The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an opportunity for production facilities, cooperatives, and businesses to introduce, promote, and honor the Ha Tinh orange brand and other agricultural products and specialties of the province to consumers. After receiving the provincial plan, the Department of Industry and Trade notified localities and units to register for booths and prepare goods. To date, units have completed the registration of the number of booths and the list of participating establishments. Currently, the Department of Industry and Trade is continuing to carry out the preparations for the festival.”
The 6th Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival, 2023, is scheduled to take place from November 24-26 at Tran Phu Park Square (Ha Tinh City). The festival is expected to feature over 100 booths showcasing oranges and OCOP products, as well as typical products of the province such as honey, Cu Do candy, fish sauce, dried seafood, turmeric starch, banh ram (rice cakes), gio cha (pork sausage), agarwood, deer antlers, etc. |
