The Ho Chi Minh City tax department will stop accepting land-related applications after today.

(NLĐO) - By the end of October 30th, the tax authorities in Ho Chi Minh City will close the books and stop accepting applications for determining land-related financial obligations through the electronic interconnected system.

According to the guidance document on the implementation of Decision 79/2024 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee sent to tax branches and professional departments, the Tax Department noted that from August 1st, when determining the financial obligations of households, there will no longer be a distinction between land prices within and outside the prescribed limits; values ​​exceeding 30 billion VND will not be considered, and specific land prices will no longer be applied.

Regarding the timing of calculating land use fees and land rent (in cases of land use purpose conversion and recognition of land use rights), this shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of Clause 3, Article 155 of the 2024 Land Law and Decision 79/2024 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department also noted that by October 30th, all tax offices in the area must close the electronic system for receiving applications to determine land-related financial obligations.

Subsequently, the tax authorities will determine the financial obligations for land registration documents in accordance with Decision 79/2024/QD-UBND, which stipulates the new land price list in Ho Chi Minh City, effective from October 31st.
