According to Resolution 1241, dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district-level and commune-level administrative units in Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2025, Que Tan commune was established on the basis of merging Hiep Hoa and Hiep Thuan communes. After establishment, Que Tan commune has an area of ​​91.28 ^km2 with a population of 4,420 people.

At the ceremony, Hiep Duc District Party Committee announced the decision to establish Que Tan Commune Party Committee under the District Party Committee. Que Tan Commune Party Committee has 11 subordinate Party cells with 178 Party members.

At the same time, the decision of the Standing Committee of the Hiep Duc District Party Committee was announced, appointing the Party Committee of Que Tan commune, consisting of 11 members, and the Standing Committee of the commune Party Committee, consisting of 5 members; and appointing Comrade Tang Van Chien as the Secretary of the commune Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hiep Duc district praised and acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Hiep Thuan and Hiep Hoa communes, contributing significantly to the overall development of the district. At the same time, he emphasized that the establishment of Que Tan commune is an inevitable and appropriate requirement and has received the high support and consensus of the cadres, party members and people of the two communes.

Mr. Tinh requested the Party Committees, authorities, agencies and departments in the district to coordinate in guiding and supporting Que Tan commune in the process of implementing tasks. He requested the cadres and party members of Que Tan commune to promote the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement to successfully carry out the assigned tasks.
