The Deo But tunnel project, with a construction value of more than 1,000 billion VND, under the Vung Ang - Bung project through Ha Tinh, is entering the final stages of construction to open to traffic on June 30.
The Vung Ang - Bung project is more than 55km long, passing through two provinces: Ha Tinh (nearly 13km) and Quang Binh (more than 42km). Construction started in January 2023 and is expected to be completed in April 2025. Phase 1 of the project has a scale of 4 lanes, a 17m wide roadbed, and a design speed of 80-90km/h.
The project has a total capital of more than 12,540 billion VND, invested by Project Management Board 6 (Ministry of Transport). The joint venture of Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. - Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation - Company 484 - Construction Company 368 - Company 479 Hoa Binh ; Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Company - Lizen Company is the contractor.
