Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics

The workshop was organized directly from the Academy Center and online to the bridge points of the academies under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

In his opening speech, introducing the Workshop, Professor, Doctor Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Academy, stated that 75 years ago, in September 1949, the Nguyen Ai Quoc Central Party School was honored to welcome President Ho Chi Minh to visit and attend the opening ceremony of the second long-term theory class.

The workshop was organized directly from the Academy Center and online to the bridge points of the academies under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

He wrote in the School's golden book the instruction: "Study to work, to be a human being, to be a cadre. Study to serve the organization, the class and the people, the Fatherland and humanity. To achieve the goal, one must be diligent, frugal, honest, upright, impartial and selfless." The event of President Ho Chi Minh visiting the School became the Traditional Day of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

To practically celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day, the Academy organized a Workshop to clarify the process of establishment, construction and development, as well as the achievements and great contributions of the Academy to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, to express gratitude for the contributions of generations of leaders and cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers through the periods; to summarize valuable traditions and experiences, and at the same time propose orientations for the construction and development of the Academy until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

From 2014 to present, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is a system consisting of functional units, specialized research institutes, Regional Political Academies 1, 2, 3, 4 and Academy of Journalism and Communication. During this period, the Academy has undergone comprehensive, synchronous, systematic innovation and many breakthroughs.

In the field of scientific research, the Academy has increasingly affirmed its position as a national center for political theory research and policy consulting for the Party and the State. In just 10 years, from 2014 to present, the Academy has completed 279 national-level programs and projects; 203 key ministerial-level projects, programs and projects; 542 selected ministerial-level projects; 51 investigation and survey projects; 1,835 decentralized and non-decentralized basic projects. The research results have directly contributed to innovation, improving the quality of training and fostering cadres and protecting and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; providing scientific arguments for the formulation of major policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.
