
At the Congress, Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association, and Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the Hung Yen Provincial Veterans Association in the past period. The Association has preserved and promoted the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and the traditions of Vietnamese veterans, successfully fulfilling its tasks and making positive contributions to the building of the Party and government, protecting the regime and the people, and has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the government.

Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia informed that in recent years, Hung Yen has achieved many successes in socio -economic development, with the Veterans Association making a significant contribution. Many veterans have become respected figures and role models for the younger generation to follow. He requested that the Hung Yen Provincial Veterans Association and its members continue to uphold their revolutionary spirit, intellect, and courage, taking the lead in implementing local tasks, especially in land reclamation and site clearance for projects; improving the effectiveness of the association's activities and work, accompanying the local government in resolving emerging and prominent issues, ensuring security and order, and serving as a support for the people and a bridge between the local government and the people.

Representatives of the Vietnam Veterans Association announced the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Veterans Association for the 2025-2030 term, and 16 delegates to the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Veterans Association for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Nguyen Anh Loc was appointed as the Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Veterans Association for the new term. On this occasion, the Vietnam Veterans Association and the People's Committee of Hung Yen province awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in building and developing the Veterans Association.
During the 2025-2030 term, the Hung Yen Provincial Veterans Association will continue to uphold the spirit of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers," maintaining the tradition of "Loyalty - Unity - Exemplary Conduct - Innovation," actively participating in protecting the Party, government, regime, and people; fighting against corruption, negative phenomena, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation." The Association will contribute to economic development, building advanced new rural areas and civilized urban areas; educating the younger generation on courage, will, and patriotic traditions; consolidating a clean and strong organization; and successfully fulfilling its tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 term.

During the past term, the Association has upheld the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," comprehensively fulfilling its tasks, effectively playing its role in building and protecting the Party and government; combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints, maintaining security and order, and ensuring political stability at the grassroots level; setting an example and taking the lead in implementing policies, movements, and campaigns, affirming itself as a reliable support for the Party committee, government, and people of the locality.
Veterans at all levels in the province have established 114 companies, 312 small and medium-sized enterprises, 17 cooperatives, 46 cooperative groups, 1,245 farms, and 538 models for restructuring crop and livestock production, many of which apply high technology and have become exemplary models that are being disseminated in the community.
The Veterans Associations of Hung Yen province have vouched for over 22,100 veteran households to borrow capital from banks with a total outstanding debt of nearly 1,110 billion VND for economic development investment; established 1,150 self-governing veteran groups for security, order, and traffic safety; supported the construction and repair of 102 houses of gratitude; donated 122 savings accounts; distributed 26,551 gifts; and completed procedures for 65,685 beneficiaries with a total amount of nearly 337 billion VND. Veteran families have voluntarily donated 51,427 m² of land, contributed 64,899 working days, and nearly 36 billion VND to implement the new rural development program.
