
At the launch event, the Duy Xuyen District Association of Former Youth Volunteers approved the decision to establish, appoint the management board, and set the operating regulations for the model.
Accordingly, the cooperative group attracted 10 female members, led by Ms. Tu Thi Thu Trinh - President of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Duy Trinh commune; it operates on the principles of voluntariness and equality with the aim of raising awareness and mobilizing the participation of former youth volunteer cadres and members.
The model was established to help members meet, interact, and support each other in production and business. It aims to leverage members' internal resources and create a proactive source of capital to develop production, improve their living standards, contribute to the sustainable poverty reduction program, and gradually build a model new rural area in the locality.

It is known that in Duy Xuyen district, there are many former youth volunteers who are successful in business , building diverse cooperative models in many fields such as livestock farming, crop cultivation, and developing traditional crafts... with a total investment of more than 5 billion VND.
On average, each business model generates a profit of 80-120 million VND per year. In addition, the owners of these establishments provide on-site employment for nearly 100 local workers with an average income of 5-7 million VND per person per month.
