The Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded 122 scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties.

On the morning of October 27, at Ly Tu Trong Secondary School (Vi Xuyen Commune) and Le Hong Phong High School (Ha Giang 2 Ward), the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a program to award scholarships to students and support schools affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

At the event locations, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning awarded 122 scholarships to underprivileged students from schools in Vi Xuyen and Thuan Hoa communes, and Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards, each scholarship worth 1 million VND. Additionally, it provided support to 11 schools in the four communes/wards, with each school receiving 20 million VND to help them recover from natural disasters. The total value of scholarships and support provided by the Association to schools in this round was 342 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Vu Thi Bich Viet, President of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, emphasized: In recent years, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning has coordinated with agencies, units, and philanthropists to organize many activities to care for the education cause of the province, contributing to the effective implementation of the motto "No poor student or student with difficult circumstances should drop out of school." She also shared her condolences for the losses and damage suffered by schools during the recent floods. President Vu Thi Bich Viet hoped that the scholarships and financial support in this round would be a source of encouragement and support, helping schools and students with difficult circumstances to have more motivation to overcome difficulties, strive harder in their studies and training, and become useful citizens for society in the future.
