On the morning of October 27, at Ly Tu Trong Secondary School (Vi Xuyen Commune) and Le Hong Phong High School (Ha Giang 2 Ward), the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a program to award scholarships to students and support schools affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

At the venues, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded 122 scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties in schools in Vi Xuyen and Thuan Hoa communes, Ha Giang 1 ward and Ha Giang 2 ward, each worth 1 million VND. At the same time, support was given to 11 schools in the above 4 communes and wards, each school received 20 million VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The total value of scholarships and support in this period from the Association for schools is 342 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Vu Thi Bich Viet, President of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, emphasized: In recent years, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education has coordinated with agencies, units, and philanthropists to organize many activities to care for the education cause of the province, contributing to the effective implementation of the motto "Do not let poor students and students in difficult circumstances drop out of school". She also shared the losses and damages of schools in the recent floods. President of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education Vu Thi Bich Viet hopes that the scholarships and support money in this period will be a source of encouragement, support, and help for schools and students in difficult circumstances to have more motivation to continue to overcome difficulties, make more efforts in studying and training, and strive to become useful citizens for society in the future.
