Executive Committee Conference of the Cooperative Alliance of Hung Yen province for the 2020 - 2025 term

On the morning of September 11th, the Hung Yen Provincial Cooperative Union held a meeting of its Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the meeting was Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Hoan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province.

Comrade Ngo Thi Kim Hoan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Cooperative Union.

At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union implemented the following contents: Approving the draft working regulations of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Permanent Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union; the draft regulations on emulation and commendation; and the regulations on the collection, payment, and use of membership fees. The delegates attending the conference focused on discussing and contributing ideas to improve the effectiveness of the Provincial Cooperative Union's operations in the future.

Over the past period, the Provincial Cooperative Union has strengthened its support for collective economic organizations to promote trade, connect supply and demand, and provide market consulting; focusing on supporting cooperatives and cooperative groups to promote digital transformation, advertise and sell products on digital platforms; and organizing many training courses to improve the capacity of members and workers. During the 2020-2025 period, the Provincial Cooperative Union organized 105 training courses for over 10,500 cooperative managers and members; supported 340 cooperatives in participating in trade promotion fairs; built 106 cooperative models linked to value chains; and supported 2 cooperative models applying science and technology to production.

Comrade Ngo Thi Kim Hoan, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives with outstanding achievements.

At the conference, the Decision on the merger of the former Hung Yen and Thai Binh Provincial Cooperative Unions was announced; the Decision on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, President and Vice Presidents of the Provincial Cooperative Union was announced; the leaders and specialized staff were announced and bid farewell; and awards were presented to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to develop the collective economy.
