Within the framework of the Hoa Lu Festival 2024, on April 17th (9th day of the 3rd lunar month), the Provincial Women's Union organized a competition to display "Five-Fruit Offering Trays to the King" and awarded prizes for the online photo contest "Ao Dai with Ninh Binh Tourism " 2024.
Eight teams, representing eight districts and cities across the province, participated in the "Five-Fruit Offering Tray to the King" competition. The teams showcased their skills in arranging the five-fruit trays and explained the concept behind the offering, reflecting the unique characteristics of each locality. The entries chosen by the participating teams featured diverse themes, showcasing the distinctive traditional culture of each region.
The "Five-Fruit Offering to the King" competition, organized annually by the Provincial Women's Union during the Hoa Lu Festival, aims to promote and educate female cadres and members about the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source," the spirit of national unity of the Vietnamese people; to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hành, and King Ly Thai To in the nation-building and defense process. Through this, it contributes to promoting the unique traditional cultural heritage values of Ninh Binh to people inside and outside the province...
At the conclusion of the competition, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the Tam Diep City Women's Union team; three second prizes to the teams from Hoa Lu, Nho Quan, and Yen Khanh districts; and four third prizes to the teams from Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh City, Gia Vien, and Kim Son. Following the competition, the Provincial Women's Union offered and displayed the winning fruit platters at the Temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang and the Temple of King Le Dai Hành.
* On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union organized the awards ceremony for the online photo contest "Ao Dai with Ninh Binh Tourism" 2024.
The contest received enthusiastic participation from a large number of women and people in the province. 540 photo albums were submitted. After review and selection, the Organizing Committee chose to post 132 individual photo albums and 86 group photo albums on the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union fanpage, receiving over 2 million interactions.
The organizing committee scored the first round based on the number of interactions as statistically recorded by the Automated Dashboard (including likes, shares, comments, etc.) on the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union fanpage and selected the 16 photo albums with the highest number of interactions in each group.
As a result, the organizing committee awarded prizes to 24 teams and individuals with a total cash prize value of 18,100,000 VND.
The competition aims to celebrate the beauty of Vietnamese women and the traditional ao dai, rich in national cultural identity, while also promoting and spreading the image of Ninh Binh tourism, Ninh Binh women, and the activities of the Women's Union at all levels.
The competition is also one of the activities of the Women's Union at all levels in the province to celebrate the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924-2024); the 1,056th anniversary of the Dai Co Viet State; the 10th anniversary of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being inscribed by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site (2014-2024); and to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
