Elderly people in Xuyen Moc commune are screened for non-communicable diseases.

The program aims to detect early, manage and promptly treat non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc., which are common in the elderly; contributing to improving the quality of life and reducing the burden of disease for the most vulnerable health groups.

After screening, 100% of the examination results are fully and promptly entered into the City's Community Health Management System (https://quanlyskcd.medinet.org.vn). In particular, over 95% of the elderly who are diagnosed with diseases will be included in the management and treatment program at medical facilities.

This is a practical activity within the framework of the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam and the Communication Campaign integrated with service provision to improve population quality in low birth rate areas by 2025.
