Opening of exhibition and forum on technology and innovation in HORECA industry

Attending the event were Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh, along with 3,500 guests including leaders of departments, branches, international experts, associations, investors and more than 500 leading enterprises.

Taking place on August 26 and 27, the exhibition and forum on technology and innovation in the HORECA industry (HorecFex Vietnam 2025) has more than 55 in-depth discussions on solutions to improve competitiveness, manage and operate businesses sustainably, update the latest trends and technology solutions for the hotel - restaurant - food service industry.

During the event, attendees directly interacted with advanced robotic solutions being applied in the hotel, restaurant and tourism industries.

Speaking at the exhibition, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that Da Nang currently possesses many outstanding advantages in terms of tourism resources and modern infrastructure. In particular, the number of 4-5 star accommodation facilities in Da Nang is leading the country, with many brands of the world's leading hotel management groups.

However, to fully exploit the potential and create sustainable values, innovation, creativity and close cooperation from many sides are needed, including the companionship and connection between the state and enterprises along with technical support and consultation from domestic and foreign organizations.

HorecFex Vietnam 2025 is an opportunity for parties to connect, share experiences and together come up with breakthrough, strategic solutions to improve the service quality of the industry.

The city is committed to providing maximum support to build a favorable environment for the development of key economic sectors, including tourism, creating the best conditions for investors and businesses to confidently invest, produce and do business, contributing to the city's socio-economic development.

According to the Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Nguyen Trung Khanh, in the 2024 Tourism and Travel Competitiveness Report (TTDI), Vietnam's tourism is ranked 59/199 countries and territories. This result reflects both remarkable efforts and important tasks ahead such as: investing in tourism development, improving infrastructure, promoting digital transformation and applying science and technology.

HorecFex Vietnam 2025 will be a forum for connecting, sharing experiences and creating practical solutions to enhance competitiveness, bringing Vietnamese tourism to a breakthrough in the new era.
