Construction begins on a tourism project worth nearly 750 billion VND along the Thu Bon River.

DNO - On the afternoon of September 3rd, in Duy Nghia commune, Da Nang city, FVG Group held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fivitel Nam Hoi An Hotel and Fivires Resort project, part of the Nam Hoi An Tourist Urban Area.

Attending the event were the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council, Nguyen Duc Dung, and other members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council, and leaders of the City People's Committee.

The Fivitel hotel and resort project in Nam Hoi An is located along the Thu Bon River and comprises a total of 380 rooms, built to 4-star and 5-star standards. The project has a total investment of nearly 750 billion VND and is expected to be completed in 2026.

Specifically, Fivires Nam Hoi An Resort is a 5-star resort with 140 rooms, a total investment of VND 423 billion, including a system of villas and integrated commercial and entertainment services. Fivitel Nam Hoi An Hotel is a 4-star hotel, 12 stories high with 240 rooms, a total investment of VND 325.8 billion.

A representative from FVG Group stated that the groundbreaking ceremony took place as FVG Group looked forward to celebrating its 10th anniversary (2015 - 2025), marking a milestone that affirms its presence in three areas: tourism, construction, and investment.

“Today, we not only commenced construction on two resort projects but also laid the first brick for our 2025-2030 strategy: creating high-quality tourism infrastructure along the entire Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven's Gate heritage route.”

"With Da Nang's spirit of rising in the new era, we believe that this project will be an important starting point, creating a chain of high-quality tourism infrastructure capable of serving millions of tourists every year; at the same time, creating momentum for economic development and improving the lives of local people along this tourist route," said Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group.

Highly appreciating the dedication and vision of FVG Group, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh said that Da Nang will always stand alongside and create all favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule, safely and effectively.

The city will direct departments and agencies to promote connecting transportation infrastructure to form a seamless and attractive tourism chain in this area.

“Along with the series of key projects launched in Da Nang, the Fivitel Nam Hoi An Hotel and Fivires Resort project commenced in accordance with the city's planning and sustainable development orientation in the new phase, expanding development space towards the east of the city; and reaffirming Da Nang's position as a tourism and service center after the merger.”
