Capitalizing on the economic recovery as a catalyst for the automotive market's resurgence, many car dealerships in Ha Tinh have launched a series of attractive promotional programs since the beginning of the year to stimulate demand for vehicles. Almost every month, dealerships offer discounts and promotions on various car models, ranging from direct cash price reductions and free comprehensive insurance to free registration and preferential interest rates on car loans. These policies have significantly contributed to boosting sales and driving strong growth in car sales since the beginning of the year.
At Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh dealership, June saw positive growth with 130 cars sold. Currently, there is a large number of customers inquiring about purchasing vehicles, and the dealership is aiming to reach approximately 120-130 cars sold this July.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Huyen, Head of Sales at Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh dealership, said: “Since the beginning of the year, the dealership has continuously run programs offering a 50% reduction in registration fees and free comprehensive insurance and accessories. In the first six months of the year, the dealership sold nearly 600 vehicles, compared to only 380 vehicles in the same period of 2024. This July, many attractive programs are also being implemented, such as: 100% support for registration fees for Veloz Cross & Avanza Premio models; 50% support for registration fees plus one year of comprehensive insurance for Vios models; 50% support for registration fees for Aris Cross & Corolla Cross models… The target for this year is 1,350 vehicles.”
While looking to buy a car at Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh, Mr. Phan Van Thanh (Tran Phu ward) shared: “I need to buy a car in the 500-600 million VND range to replace my old I10. My main concerns are durability, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs. After researching, I am considering the Raize, which is within my budget and suits my needs.”
At the Hyundai Ha Tinh dealership, sales reached approximately 500 vehicles in the first six months of the year. Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Sales Director of Hyundai Ha Tinh, stated: "In 2025, with the government 's policy of reducing registration fees no longer in effect, and amidst intense competition among brands, the dealership has implemented numerous incentives, from popular models to luxury cars, to stimulate demand. As a result, sales have been quite strong. Popular models include the I10, Accent, Tucson, and Creta... Currently, many models are being offered with cash discounts equivalent to 100% of the registration fee, up to 150 million VND. To achieve the target of 1,500 vehicles in 2025, Hyundai Ha Tinh continues to focus on solutions such as increasing customer accessibility through online channels and direct test drives, improving customer service quality, and providing after-sales customer care…”
A standout performer in the automotive market during the first few months of the year was the domestic electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast. The shift in consumer trends towards green vehicles led to outstanding sales figures for the VinFast Ha Tinh dealership in the first six months of the year.
Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hoang – Sales Director of VinFast Ha Tinh, said: “In the first six months of the year, VinFast Ha Tinh sold 990 vehicles, with the VF3, VF5, and VF6 models achieving high sales figures. Currently, VinFast is implementing many programs such as: the “Strong Vietnamese Spirit” policy, offering a 4% price reduction, unlimited free public charging until June 2027, and a policy supporting up to 100 million VND for converting gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles. This year, we strive to achieve sales of 2,200 vehicles.”
Having purchased a VF3 electric car last June, Ms. Phuong Nhi (Thanh Sen ward) shared: “My family already has a Kia Seltos purchased in 2022. Due to the need for an additional vehicle for commuting to work and picking up our children, my husband and I chose to buy a VF3 electric car. With a price of less than 300 million VND, its compact size and convenient design make it very satisfying for our daily commute.”
Car dealerships in the area are continuously implementing attractive promotional programs to stimulate market demand.
According to business units, the positive economic recovery is a key driver stimulating increased consumer demand, including the demand for car purchases. In addition, banks are beginning to ease credit restrictions, and gradually decreasing interest rates are also positive factors supporting consumers in accessing car loans more easily. According to preliminary statistics from dealerships, in the first six months of the year, the number of cars sold throughout the province reached over 3,400, an increase of approximately 1,000 cars compared to the same period in 2024.
Automotive businesses also expect the market to grow more strongly in the second half of the year, contributing to achieving their sales targets, as the peak of the automotive market usually falls in the last months of the year when people's demand for cars increases.
