Before the closing session, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Hoang Trung Dung, informed the attendees about several issues raised by voters via the hotline, including policies for people with meritorious service; the construction plan for the road project in Nguyen Du ward (Ha Tinh City); improving fire and power outage response in Thach Trung commune (Ha Tinh City); promptly developing a compensation plan for people whose land is being reclaimed in the area planned for Ha Tinh University; and resolving the support scheme for doctors who have completed postgraduate specialization at the Can Loc District Medical Center according to Resolution No. 46/2021/NQ-HĐND dated December 16, 2021, which stipulates some policies to encourage the development of high-quality human resources in Ha Tinh province for the period 2022-2025...
At the beginning of the closing session, the Secretariat of the session presented the draft resolutions, which the delegates reviewed and voted to approve in 27 cases across various fields.

At the closing of the session, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Hoang Trung Dung, emphasized: After 2.5 days of work, the 17th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council has completed its agenda.
The Provincial People's Council comprehensively assessed the achievements, pointed out shortcomings and limitations in the process of directing and managing the implementation of socio-economic tasks in 2023 and the 2021-2023 period; clearly analyzed the reasons for the low achievement of targets; based on that, considered and proposed tasks and solutions to achieve the goals and targets for 2024; and considered and approved 27 resolutions in various fields.
The session allocated sufficient time for questioning members of the Provincial People's Committee, and this was the first session where the Provincial People's Council organized a comprehensive questioning of all members of the Provincial People's Committee to review all aspects. Generally, the members of the Provincial People's Committee demonstrated a firm grasp of the situation in their respective fields, answered frankly, clarified issues, and proposed solutions to address them. It is believed that with these innovations in questioning and supervision, the coordination between the Provincial People's Council and agencies within the political system will be more effective; and the issues of concern to voters and the people will receive greater attention from relevant agencies to resolve difficulties and obstacles.
The session also included a vote of confidence for 29 individuals holding positions elected by the Provincial People's Council. This is a particularly important oversight activity, reflecting recognition and appreciation of the efforts and achievements of the Standing Committee members of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee members from the beginning of their term to the present.

Resolution stipulating the support regime for Lao students studying at training institutions in Ha Tinh province during the period 2023 - 2025. The resolution stipulates several policies to support drug addicts undergoing rehabilitation; those assigned to support drug rehabilitation in families and communities; and special allowances for officials and employees working at public drug rehabilitation centers and social assistance facilities in Ha Tinh province.
