Hue IPBSA and KIND sign a cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, the two sides will explore, coordinate information sharing, and connect in the following areas: sustainable urban development, infrastructure development, environmentally friendly industries, trade and investment promotion, science and technology, culture, tourism, high-tech agriculture , and other sustainable development activities. Forms of cooperation include providing master plan information, research, exchanging investment law information, promoting Hue's investment environment to Korean investors, and supporting businesses affiliated with KIND in conducting investment research in accordance with current regulations.

The memorandum of understanding is valid for five years from the date of signing. The goal of the cooperation is to promote sustainable development orientations, contributing to economic growth while preserving the unique cultural and historical identity of Hue city; to boost trade, investment, science and technology, culture, tourism, and high-tech agriculture; and to support the realization of the vision of building Hue into a creative and sustainably developed city. Simultaneously, it aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.

Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, shared that Hue has been implementing many programs and signing cooperation agreements with Korean businesses. However, this is the first time Hue IPBSA has signed a cooperation agreement with an infrastructure investment and urban development company. He also expressed his hope that after the cooperation, KIND will participate in researching and implementing many infrastructure investment projects, connecting heritage sites in Hue; and introducing Hue to KIND's partner businesses.

The Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee requested that after the signing ceremony, Hue IPBSA develop a plan to support KIND in investment research and conduct preliminary assessments to best support investors coming to Hue. The city also committed to providing maximum support for KIND and its partners to research and implement projects in Hue.
