High School Graduation Exam 2025: 10 candidates suspended in the first subject

In the first exam of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, 10 candidates were suspended from the exam for using documents and phones in the exam room.

According to a quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training, 1,144,477 students took the Literature exam, accounting for 99.37% of the total number of registered candidates. Of these, 1,126,889 students took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program; 17,588 students took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.

In the first exam, 10 candidates nationwide were suspended from the exam. Of these, 8 used cell phones and 2 used documents. In Hanoi alone, the Department of Education and Training said that during the Literature exam, 3 candidates used cell phones in the exam room.

According to regulations, 10 suspended candidates will have all their exam results canceled and will not be recognized as graduates.

In Hanoi, in the first exam session, a total of 863 candidates were absent. Of these, 614 candidates were absent from the 2018 General Education Program. 249 candidates were absent from the 2006 General Education Program.
