Leaders of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to celebrate Buddha's Birthday

Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung presented flowers and gifts to congratulate Most Venerable Thich Thanh Van, Head of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha.

On the occasion of Buddha's Birthday 2025 - Buddhist calendar 2569 and the event of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha hosting the United Nations Vesak Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, on the morning of April 27, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to congratulate Most Venerable Thich Thanh Van, Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee, abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda (Seu Pagoda); Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee, Principal of Hai Duong Buddhist College; Most Venerable Thich Dieu Huong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee in charge of the Nuns' Order, abbot of Phong Hanh Pagoda.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Department of Home Affairs, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial People's Committee Office and Hai Duong City.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and support of dignitaries, monks, nuns, followers and Buddhists in the past time.

Congratulating the 2025 Buddha's Birthday, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and companionship of dignitaries, monks, nuns, followers, and Buddhists in the province who, together with Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, have well performed the socio -economic development tasks of the province and each locality.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee briefly informed the Venerables, dignitaries, and Buddhists about some of Hai Duong's socio-economic results and achievements in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025; and the recent revolution in streamlining the apparatus at all levels.

On the occasion of Buddha's birthday in 2025 - Buddhist calendar 2569, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung sent his best wishes to dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province; hoping that dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, the tradition of living "good life - good religion", sticking together and accompanying the nation, contributing to building the province to be increasingly stable and developed, in which supporting and agreeing with the policy of unifying and rearranging administrative units at all levels.
