On the afternoon of December 19th, the Thanh Hoa City Federation of Labor (LĐLĐ) held a conference to summarize the workers', civil servants', and laborers' movement and trade union activities in 2024; and to implement tasks for 2025.

In 2024, under the leadership of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union and the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee, the workers' movement and trade union activities in the city achieved comprehensive results.
Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City Federation of Labor Unions, Le Trong Giang, delivered the opening speech at the conference.
The Thanh Hoa City Federation of Labor Unions has established 13 new grassroots trade unions and recruited 1,153 new members, bringing the total number of grassroots trade unions to 284 units with 10,416 union members. The work of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers has been effectively carried out by all levels of trade unions; mobilizing funds from organizations, individuals, and social sources to support disadvantaged workers.
Throughout the year, they coordinated visits and provided support, distributing thousands of gifts to union members and workers, worth nearly 2 billion VND.

In addition, trade union levels continue to innovate the content and methods of organizing and launching patriotic emulation movements among cadres, union members, and workers, focusing on movements such as: "Innovation, creativity, and efficiency in trade union activities," "Excellent and creative labor," "Excellent advice and good service," and "Green, clean, beautiful, and safe working environment"...
Trade unions at all levels in Thanh Hoa City have implemented many effective methods and innovative models that attract a large number of union members and workers to participate in labor and production emulation. Typical examples include: the "8-hour workday with quality and efficiency" model at the City Party Committee Trade Union, the City People's Committee Trade Union, and the City People's Bloc Trade Union; the model of organizing physical education and sports activities for workers at the Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company Trade Union; and the model of implementing the "Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" emulation movement at the Tien Nong Agricultural and Industrial Joint Stock Company Trade Union and the Thanh Hoa Power Construction Joint Stock Company...
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Thanh Hoa City Federation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the workers' movement and trade union activities in 2024.
