Lenovo and Google collaborate to transform digital education

This is Google's fourth pilot project in Vietnam.FPT Primary and Secondary School (FPT Schools) is a member of FPT Education with two decades of training and nurturing the young generation of Vietnam, ready for the transition of the 4.0 technology revolution and especially always a pioneer in digital transformation in education.

Students experience learning through technology solutions from Google and Lenovo

As the lead partner in this pilot program, Lenovo provided Chromebook 300e laptops to students and teachers at FPT Cau Giay Primary and Secondary School, and AI Education (AIE) trained teachers at the school on how to use Google's toolkit. Participating in this pilot program is a 5th grade class with 32 students and 9 teachers.

The school's teaching and learning activities are deployed on Lenovo Chromebook 300e laptops with various tools in Google Workspace for Education such as Google Classroom and Google Meet, enhanced by the Chrome Education Upgrade toolkit.

The results showed that students showed higher levels of engagement in learning activities (90% of pilot students found the class more interesting) while 89% of teachers agreed that they were able to implement a student-centered approach. Additionally, 94% of students agreed that they had improved their ability to use digital tools in their learning, and 100% of teachers confirmed that Google Workspace for Education and Lenovo Chromebook 300e saved them 1-5 hours or more per week, especially in administrative work.
