Series of private schools enrolling first graders for the 2025-2026 school year

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Nguyen Binh Khiem School, Hanoi Star School, and Archimedes School have announced enrollment for first grade in the 2025-2026 school year.

Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School - Cau Giay District is recruiting 150 students for Grade 1, divided into 5 classes, following two models: high-quality and bilingual.

The school's admissions process involves one-on-one conversations and observation of children during group activities and physical games. Admission results are announced after one week.

Hoang Mai Star Primary, Secondary, and High School is enrolling 15 first-grade classes, with 32 students per class.

The school has two admission methods for two groups of applicants. Students who participate in the school's preschool club will take an aptitude test and be interviewed by the school administration.

Students who are not part of this club will take a centralized aptitude assessment on December 9th. Prior to that, all applicants must submit a video audition as specifically requested by the school.

Hanoi Star Private School, which combines junior high and elementary levels, is enrolling 9 first-grade classes, with 32 students per class.

The admission process is similar to Hoang Mai Star School. However, the aptitude assessment at Hanoi Star School has several differences.

The school's competency assessment will be held on January 11, 2025.

Students wishing to join the Advanced English 1B0 class will have to take a separate English proficiency test. The specific schedule has not yet been announced.

Archimedes School System has also announced enrollment for the program "Preparing children for grade 1". The enrollment target is children born in 2019. The program starts on December 7.

Students participating in this program have an advantage in the school's official entrance exams and also receive preferential treatment regarding initial school year contributions.

For high-quality public primary schools, the entrance exam for first grade usually takes place in June each year. Schools typically send out announcements around mid-May each year.
