Macbook Air M3 goes on sale in Vietnam, starting at nearly 28 million VND.

Apple's newly launched MacBook Air M3 will officially be delivered to users in Vietnam on April 15th if ordered through the Apple Store online. However, some authorized dealers (AARs) have already started delivering devices early to customers who participated in the pre-order program. The product will be available in both 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes when it hits official stores.

According to a representative from CellphoneS, the 13-inch MacBook Air M3, with a suggested retail price starting from 27.99 million VND for the standard version, is a suitable choice for everyday office tasks while still providing sufficient performance for light graphic design and editing work. The system believes that the MacBook Air series equipped with the M3 chip is suitable for office workers, media companies, or content creators.

Versions with 512GB of storage or upgraded RAM to 16GB or more will also come with a default 10 GPU configuration, which will be a highlight this year, giving users more options for configuration upgrades compared to the previous generation. " The 16GB RAM and 24GB RAM versions are expected to be available in stores around the end of April ," a representative from CellphoneS said.

The MacBook Air M3 retains the same design as its predecessor, the Air M2.

According to Di Dong Viet retail system, the number of customers pre-ordering the MacBook Air M3 has slightly increased compared to its predecessor at the same time of its upcoming release. Specifically, the 13-inch compact version is being pre-ordered at a higher rate than the 15-inch version.

On April 10th and 11th, this system began delivering products to early customers in batches, along with some incentives that helped lower the price of the standard 13-inch MacBook Air by 1.4 million VND compared to the listed price.

Specifically, the MacBook Air M3 is being sold at the same price for all four color options: Silver, Gray, Dark Blue, and Gold. The 13-inch 8GB/256GB version is priced at 26.39 million VND (listed price 27.99 million VND); the 13-inch 8GB/512GB version is priced at 30.99 million VND, 2 million VND lower than the listed price.

The 15-inch MacBook Air M3 with 8GB of RAM will have two storage options: 256GB and 512GB, priced at VND 31.39 million and VND 35.89 million respectively. The highest-configuration version with 16GB/512GB, currently listed at VND 42.99 million, will be reduced to VND 40.89 million after the discount.

Recently, Apple adjusted the price of its 13-inch Macbook Air M2 models down by 3 million VND, now starting at just 24.99 million VND for the standard 8GB RAM/256GB SSD version. Notably, Apple has now defaulted to an 8-GPU (previously 7 GPUs) graphics processor for new M2 chip models manufactured starting in March 2024. With both the price reduction and hardware upgrade, the product has garnered renewed interest and seen increased sales at some retailers.
