Man shoots drinking buddy's wife in Ha Tinh after bringing a gun to settle a score.

On the afternoon of October 22nd, leaders of the People's Committee of Xuan Thanh commune (Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province ) reported that an incident had occurred in the area where an individual used an air gun to shoot and injure a woman.

Specifically, at around 9:30 PM on October 20th, Nguyen Van C. (born in 1997, residing in Xuan Thanh commune) was drinking with a group of friends at the BP restaurant in Xuan Thanh commune.

During a drinking session, C. had a conflict with his drinking companion, TVP (who lives in the same commune). After the drinking session ended, on the way home, the two continued to argue, leading to a physical altercation. Tran Ngoc T. (who was sitting at the same table) saw this and intervened to stop them.

However, C. believed that T.'s intervention was intended to help P. attack him, so he went home, retrieved an air gun, and went to T.'s house to "settle the score."

At that moment, Ms. Pham Thi D. (born in 1996, wife of Mr. T.) came out to close the gate of the house and was shot in the stomach by Cong with an air gun, causing her to collapse on the spot.

After committing the crime, C. fled. Ms. D. was taken by her family to Nghe An Friendship General Hospital for emergency treatment.

The Nghi Xuan District Police are currently investigating the case and are urging Nguyen Van C. to surrender.
