During the 2019-2024 term, the Fatherland Front of Binh Phu commune, in coordination with the local government and member organizations, successfully implemented campaigns aimed at improving the criteria for new rural communes and model new rural villages.
The commune's Fatherland Front organized a dialogue forum with poor households, and based on that, it chaired consultations to assign member organizations to help poor and near-poor households rise out of poverty sustainably. To date, the poverty rate in the commune is 3.86%, a decrease of 3.04% compared to the beginning of the term.
During the past term, the commune's Fatherland Front mobilized resources to build 6 new solidarity houses with a total cost of 240 million VND; and mobilized over 126 million VND to support COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.
The congress elected 39 members to the XI term of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Phu commune. Ms. Chau Thi Lan was re-elected as Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.
