(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Among the 8 subjects in the 9th grade gifted student competition in Thanh Xuan district, this private school accounted for 6 top scorers and won more than half of the district's first prizes.
According to information posted by Hanoi Star Primary and Secondary School, the school won 76 awards in the Thanh Xuan district's 9th grade student excellence competition for the 2024-2025 school year.
Notably, out of 24 first prizes awarded in the entire district, the school won 13, accounting for 54.2% of the total first prizes in the district.
In subjects like mathematics, computer science, English, and chemistry, 100% of the first prizes in the district went to students from Ngoi Sao School.
The school's remaining awards include 36 second prizes, 17 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes.
With these results, the school has 37 students who have qualified for the official team to compete at the city level.

Hanoi Star School also announced the list of 6 students who achieved top scores in 6 subjects, including: Vo Manh Cuong (top scorer in mathematics), Pham Minh Dung (top scorer in English), Nguyen Vu Thu Ha (top scorer in literature), Vu Nguyen Quynh Giang (top scorer in physics), Bui Ngoc Ha (top scorer in chemistry), and Tran Khoi Nguyen (top scorer in computer science).
In addition, the school also has five runners-up in mathematics, English, literature, and chemistry.
Currently, three inner-city districts of Hanoi have announced the results of the district-level gifted student competition: Thanh Xuan, Cau Giay, and Hoan Kiem.
Cau Giay Secondary School leads in performance in Cau Giay District, while Trung Vuong Secondary School leads in performance in Hoan Kiem District.
Cau Giay Secondary School has 8 valedictorians, including: Nguyen Quang Anh (valedictorian in mathematics), Dang Huyen Anh and Bui Thi Quynh Nhu (valedictorians in literature), Hua Quynh Bao (valedictorian in English), Hoang Ngoc Bao Chi (valedictorian in history), Trieu Le Quan (valedictorian in physics), Nguyen Hoang Phuong Uyen and Nguyen Le Khanh (valedictorians in biology).
Trung Vuong Secondary School has 6 valedictorians, including: Dang Hoang Lam (valedictorian in mathematics), Doan Van Anh Thai (valedictorian in computer science), Nguyen Minh Hai (valedictorian in physics), Tran Quoc Bao Minh (valedictorian in English), Nguyen Khanh Van (valedictorian in biology), and Vu Thao Huong (valedictorian in French).
