According to information from the Lao Cai Province Hydrometeorological Station, the temperature on the top of Fansipan in the early morning is about 2 degrees Celsius. This temperature is low enough to form a thin layer of frost, covering all paths, attractions and trees.

This is the first frost to appear on Fansipan peak in the winter of 2024. The frost appears as a thin layer, spreading evenly on the stone steps, wooden floors, trees and walkways at the tourist spot.

It is forecasted that in the coming days, the temperature in Sa Pa town and Fansipan peak will remain low, and frost may continue to occur.

Earlier, on the afternoon of November 22, tourists visiting Fansipan also witnessed a strange natural phenomenon, a large halo surrounding the Buddha statue on the top of the mountain. This impressive scene was captured by photographer Bao Long.

Sa Pa and Fansipan peak are in the most beautiful season of the year - cloud hunting season with floating seas of clouds.

During cold spells, when temperatures drop, visitors can see transparent ice crystals covering the paths and attractions in the early morning. When the sun rises, the sea of ​​white clouds makes the scene from the top of Fansipan look like a fairyland.
