Improving the effectiveness of state management of education and training in implementing the two-level local government model

On the morning of October 23, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to discuss state management of education when implementing two-level local government, school year 2025 - 2026. The conference was connected to 124 points of communes and wards in the province.

After the merger, the entire Tuyen Quang province has over 1,300 educational institutions. The two-level local government model has initially created positive changes in educational management, simplifying the management system towards streamlining, increasing the initiative and effectiveness of local management.

The People's Committees of communes and wards actively and proactively direct schools to carry out educational tasks right from the beginning of the school year, ensuring material facilities for schools to operate; coordinate with the Department of Education and Training in arranging management staff and teachers at schools.

Delegates focused on discussing and clarifying difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing educational tasks in communes, wards and school units after implementing two-level local government. The implementation of coordination regulations between the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committees of communes and wards in performing a number of state management tasks on education. At the same time, solutions were proposed to effectively implement the coordination of state management of education at the local level, key tasks for the 2025-2026 school year.

At the same time, propose specific policies of the province to support the development of education and training in the province. At the same time, advise the Provincial People's Committee to recruit teachers in 2025 for educational institutions to meet teaching requirements in the 2025-2026 school year; arrange educational institutions in accordance with new administrative units; promote decentralization and delegation of authority; continue to build national standard schools associated with building new rural areas; implement solutions to maintain and improve the quality of universal education at all levels.
