Speaking at the program, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Tran Quang Hung said that, in implementing the national innovation and entrepreneurship program and the "Creative Youth" movement of the Central Youth Union, the Hanoi Youth Union has implemented many innovative models and approaches, contributing to the creation and promotion of the unit's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Many policies to care for, nurture, utilize, and promote young talents have been proposed; diverse competitions and awards to promote youth creativity have been organized; and emulation movements to improve skills and expertise, undertake technical innovation projects and initiatives, and compete in labor and production have continued to be implemented and widely disseminated.
In implementing Program No. 07 of the Hanoi City Party Committee on "Promoting the development of science, technology and innovation in Hanoi City in the period 2021 - 2025," the Hanoi Youth Union branches at all levels have actively organized activities to implement five key projects to carry out Program No. 07. This has contributed to the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and participation in the socio-economic development of Hanoi in particular and the Capital Region and the Red River Delta in general.
This year's Hanoi Innovation Festival, organized by the Hanoi Youth Union, features 23 booths showcasing innovative products, ideas, and digital transformation initiatives from youth union members and young people.
Within the framework of the program, the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, Tran Quang Hung, also launched the "7th Global Vietnam Startup Challenge". This is an attractive and challenging competition with the expected participation of 70 universities and businesses from 8 regions around the world, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, with the goal of bringing more value to the community and making a positive contribution to the development of Vietnam.
