On January 16th, Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh received a delegation from Hua Phan province led by Mr. Phut Phan Keo Vong Xay, Standing Committee member and Deputy Governor of Hua Phan province (Laos), who came to extend New Year greetings for the Year of the Snake 2025 to the Party Committee, government, and people of Thanh Hoa province.

During the meeting, leaders from the Departments of Health and hospitals of both provinces provided an overview of the healthcare situation in their respective localities. Over the past period, maintaining close and effective cooperation in the healthcare sector between Thanh Hoa and Hua Phan provinces has made a practical contribution to improving the quality of healthcare for the people of Hua Phan province. It has also played a significant role in building and developing the good neighborly friendship between Thanh Hoa and Hua Phan provinces.

In accordance with the cooperation agreement between Thanh Hoa and Hua Phan provinces, the two sides have strengthened cooperation in the field of healthcare. Accordingly, Thanh Hoa province has carried out many activities and projects to support healthcare in Hua Phan province; every year, thousands of Lao patients visit hospitals in Thanh Hoa province for examination and treatment.
