The head of the Party Committee and the government of Phu Ninh district are strengthening dialogue with the people.

As part of the key solutions to concretize the 2023 theme of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's example set by the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Phu Ninh District Party Standing Committee has focused on directing the handling and resolution of long-standing and prominent issues in the district.

Specifically, the focus was on directing the implementation of Conclusion No. 84, dated April 19, 2023, of the Phu Ninh District Party Committee on strengthening the management of investment and basic construction; and Conclusion No. 85, dated May 19, 2023, of the District Party Committee on strengthening state management of land, construction order, mineral resources, environment, and resolving existing and prominent issues related to these matters.

Notably, Phu Ninh focuses on promoting the exemplary role of leaders of Party committees and government at all levels by strengthening dialogue between leaders of Party committees and government and the people.

Specifically, the District Party Secretary and the Chairman of the District People's Committee organized 14 dialogues with the people, focusing on several issues such as: dialogues with households implementing the policy of the State and the people working together in building rural roads in Tam Dai commune; and those affected by the district's training ground construction project in Tan Quy village (Tam Vinh commune).

Or consider the dialogues with officials, Party members, and the people on the field of new rural development in Tam Phuoc and Tam Thai communes. In addition, the heads of Party committees and local governments directly engage in dialogues with farmer association members, youth, and women on issues related to entrepreneurship…

According to Ms. Bui Thi Kim Hoang, Deputy Head of the Phu Ninh District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the target locations and participants for the dialogue are residential areas, especially those with prominent issues and prone to complex incidents.

Through dialogue, hundreds of opinions and suggestions were received and acknowledged by the district's Party and government leaders. These were directly explained and clarified at the meeting to ensure public understanding. Simultaneously, relevant district agencies were tasked with receiving and researching these suggestions to advise on solutions and foster public consensus.

As a ripple effect, the heads of Party committees and local governments at the commune level throughout the district also prioritize organizing dialogues with the people.

Mr. Tran Van Du, Chairman of the Tam An Commune People's Committee, said that dialogue with the people is considered an important political task of the locality in implementing the construction of new rural communes and villages.

Through dialogue, awareness among the people has been raised about their responsibility in building their homeland, especially in fulfilling criteria related to the environment, transportation, and family gardens.

In 2023, 12 households registered to renovate model gardens and tidy up neglected gardens; donated over ^500m² of land, dismantled structures, and contributed hundreds of man-hours of labor to complete 6 rural road projects…
