According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, from the night of December 27th, the cold air mass will continue to affect other areas in the North Central and Northwest regions. In Hanoi this morning, the sky is cloudy, with decreasing cloud cover and sunshine in the afternoon, and cold weather. The lowest temperature will be between 14-16 degrees Celsius.

Observations made during the early weekend morning showed temperatures in Hanoi ranging from 14 to 16 degrees Celsius. Many people venturing out not only dressed warmly but also brought hats, face masks, or scarves to cover their faces completely.

Sports and recreational activities around Hoan Kiem Lake continue as usual. For some, the cold winter weather is not a major inconvenience, and they even find it quite comfortable to be outdoors.

With the weather turning cold, many young people enjoy strolling around the Ho Guom pedestrian area.

People going out were all bundled up to avoid the cold wind.

People who work outdoors have to wear raincoats to protect themselves from the cold.

Some people choose to gather around warm cups of tea, chatting on a crisp early winter morning by West Lake.

"I always wear gloves and a life jacket when I go to the gym. I really enjoy the cold morning weather; sipping a hot cup of tea and chatting with friends is my daily pleasure," said Mr. Dung (Long Bien district).

Ms. Le Kim Ngan (Tay Ho district) said: "Today the weather is quite nice, so I took the opportunity to stroll along West Lake, enjoying the scenery and listening to music to make the most of the weekend."

The area around West Lake was quite deserted, even on the weekend.

People waiting at bus stops were huddled together in the cold weather.

Children accompanied by their parents were very well-dressed in warm clothing.

The forecast for the coming days indicates that temperatures in the North will continue to drop, with intense cold and scattered light rain.
