Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh hold conferences to promote tourism

As part of the side activities of the VITM Hanoi 2024 International Tourism Fair, on April 11th, the provinces of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh jointly organized a tourism promotion conference with the theme "One Journey - Many Experiences".

Overview of the conference.

The conference was attended by representatives from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration; the Vietnam Tourism Association; the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Departments of Tourism; the Investment and Tourism Promotion Centers of various provinces, along with numerous tourism businesses nationwide.

Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, delivered the opening remarks at the conference.

At the conference, the localities informed the delegates about the overall tourism situation and business activities, tourism products, new destinations, and typical cultural, sports, and tourism events in 2024 of the four provinces.

For Thanh Hoa tourism, the focus will continue to be on renewing and improving the province's three main product lines (beach tourism, spiritual and cultural tourism, and community-based ecotourism) and introducing new products to the market. Specifically, beach tourism products will feature many new services and destinations such as: water parks, pedestrian streets, night markets, and street art performances (Sam Son City); Nghi Son - Me Island tours, off-road vehicle games without steering wheels, Formula 1 racing tracks, grass sledding, paintball, zipline... (Nghi Son town); hot air balloon festivals, beer festivals, Lalamingo Park pedestrian street, ice cream museum, light maze, four-season swimming pools, (Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien resort, Hoang Hoa district)...

The Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration delivered a speech outlining the direction and guidance at the conference.

In his remarks, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Pham Van Thuy highly appreciated the efforts of the localities in organizing the promotion conference. He also affirmed that, with their diverse natural and cultural tourism resources and potential advantages, Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh are becoming a tourism bridge between regions across the country.

The collaborative activities between localities in recent times have been of great significance in the overall development of tourism in the country and in each locality. Through the cooperative tourism development activities of the four provinces, the image of Vietnam and its people is also promoted to tourists and international friends in a vivid and attractive way.

In the coming period, localities need to focus on synchronously implementing solutions in accordance with the spirit of Government Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP on key tasks and solutions to accelerate the recovery and development of tourism effectively and sustainably, and Prime Minister's Directive 08/CT-TTg on comprehensive, rapid, and sustainable tourism development in the coming time. Accordingly, localities should focus on doing well in several areas such as sharing information and experiences, coordinating tourism management; developing tourism product chains in interconnected regions; promoting joint tourism; paying attention to the development and recovery of human resources; and focusing on attracting investment for tourism development.
