I can't believe I'm a "double" valedictorian.

Family members, teachers, and friends called to congratulate her, causing the female student's phone to be constantly ringing with calls.
Sharing with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , Ngoc happily said: "After finishing the high school graduation exam, I counted down the days waiting for the official results to be announced. I didn't expect such a result, as I was both the top scorer in the C00 group and the top scorer nationwide. My family and I were overjoyed to the point of tears."
Ngoc further shared that she reviewed her exam results multiple times after the exam, especially after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the answer key. By comparing her exam results with the Ministry's published answer key, Ngoc was able to calculate her scores for each subject.
"I graded the other subjects myself, and the results were exactly as I predicted. The Literature exam was the one I was most looking forward to and nervous about. I predicted I'd get around 9.25 points. However, when the results were announced, I was overwhelmed because my score far exceeded my expectations – 9.75 points," the top-scoring student happily said.

On the morning of July 17th, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the exam results. Compared to other days, Ngoc woke up earlier and sat at her computer to check her scores. When she saw her scores for all subjects, Ngoc didn't think she would be the top scorer in her group or the top scorer nationwide.
"My classmates called to tell me I was the top scorer in the C00 group (Ngoc scored 29.75 points in Literature, History, and Geography), and I couldn't believe it. When my homeroom teacher called to tell me I was the top scorer in the C00 group and one of the 19 top scorers in this group, I was truly surprised and happy. My parents also called to congratulate me, and I was moved to tears."
The joy didn't stop there for the petite student, as she was also announced as the top student nationwide in the 2024 high school graduation exam. At this moment, Ngoc, along with her family, teachers, and friends, rejoiced in this "double" joy.
Dreaming of becoming a teacher to help poor children.
The female top scorer nationwide in the high school graduation exam and the top scorer in the C00 subject group continued to share that, at the end of 11th grade and the beginning of 12th grade, she dreamed of becoming an English teacher. Therefore, in 12th grade, she worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality.

"During the summer vacation of my 11th grade year, my class organized a visit to the Ninh Binh Provincial Social Welfare Center. There, I met orphaned children and those in extremely difficult circumstances, which moved me deeply."
"From then on, I wanted to do something in the future to contribute to helping these children. And I chose to become a teacher; I will teach English to young children so that when they grow up, their lives will be less difficult," the top-scoring female student shared.
To achieve such high results, Dinh Thi Bich Ngoc has worked tirelessly. From middle school, Ngoc demonstrated excellent character and academic excellence across all subjects. In high school, Ngoc chose the specialized English class to pursue her passion and her goal of studying at the University of Foreign Languages Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi .
Speaking about her favorite student, homeroom teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Thuong expressed: "Ngoc is one of the best students in the class. She has outstanding qualities, excelling in all subjects. In class, Ngoc is sociable with everyone, often caring for and helping her friends with study methods and solving difficult problems so that they can all improve together."
Ms. Thuong briefly highlighted the impressive achievements of the top-scoring female student nationwide. Specifically, in 10th grade, Ngoc won first prize in the IELTS Challenge English speaking competition organized by Ninh Binh province.

In grades 10 and 11, Ngoc was a member of the school's team participating in the Northern Coastal and Delta Region's excellent student competition, winning a Bronze Medal for two consecutive years. In grade 12, she won first prize in the Ninh Binh province's excellent student competition in English.
Revealing her study methods, Ngoc said: "To achieve high results, I don't cram. Each week I study one subject, making sure I understand the lessons of that subject before moving on to another. Once I have a solid grasp of the knowledge, I then review all subjects."
Commenting on this year's high school graduation exam, Ngoc said that the math and literature exams were much more challenging and had a higher level of differentiation than in previous years.
"This year's math exam was very difficult, especially the last few questions. When I first read the last few questions, I was quite 'shocked' because the question types were unusual, and I had to think a lot. The literature exam this year was also quite long (18 questions). When taking the exam, we were also under a lot of time because the questions were both long and difficult," the double valedictorian shared.
