Efforts to promote national unity and encourage overseas Vietnamese to turn towards their homeland have yielded many positive results. Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Le Van Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, praised and acknowledged the positive contributions of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Da Nang City over the past period in the work of disseminating information and mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to turn towards their homeland; proactively grasping the aspirations and suggestions of overseas Vietnamese.
Comrade Le Van Trung suggested that the Association continue to effectively implement Conclusion No. 12-KL/TW dated August 12, 2021 of the Politburo on work with overseas Vietnamese in the new situation; promote the role of a bridge and connect the overseas Vietnamese community.

To encourage patriotism and national pride among the Vietnamese community abroad, and to disseminate information about the country, the city, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws to overseas Vietnamese, Comrade Le Van Trung also suggested that the Association introduce highly qualified overseas Vietnamese intellectuals with the financial means to invest in and participate in the city's development.
Comrade Le Van Trung also requested the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Da Nang City to coordinate in organizing meetings and exchanges on the occasion of overseas Vietnamese returning to their homeland to celebrate Tet and attend important events of the city.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Da Nang City, term V, 2024-2029, consisting of 31 members. Ms. Le Thi Thai Thanh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Dacotex Da Nang Co., Ltd., was elected as Chairwoman of the Association, term V, 2024-2029.
