Promoting the role and responsibility of youth in the process of building and developing the country and Hai Phong city

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), responding to the political activity "Remembering Uncle Ho - our hearts are brighter", commemorating the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's testament. On the afternoon of August 16, at To Hieu Political School, Hai Phong City Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to organize a scientific workshop "Promoting the role and responsibility of youth in the process of building and developing the country and Hai Phong city".

The workshop aims to affirm and analyze a number of important theoretical and practical issues on the role and responsibility of youth in the goal of building and developing Hai Phong into a leading city in the country in the cause of industrialization and modernization; thereby contributing to strengthening the belief and revolutionary ideals of cadres, union members and youth with the determination to successfully carry out patriotic emulation movements, completing the goals and tasks set forth by the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolutions of Youth Union Congresses at all levels.

Comrade Le Khac Nguyen Anh, Secretary of the City Youth Union, spoke at the Workshop.

The workshop took place in 2 sessions including: Some theoretical and practical issues on promoting the role of youth in the process of building and developing the country; some solutions to promote the role of Hai Phong youth in the process of building and developing Hai Phong city in the coming time.

At the workshop, the youth union members listened to 10 presentations and 4 information exchange opinions of scientists , thereby affirming the importance of awareness and responsibility of youth in the process of building and developing the country in general and Hai Phong city in particular. The presentations raised important theoretical and practical issues about the role and responsibility of youth in the cause of building and developing the country and Hai Phong city; the content and methods of promoting the role of youth in performing the task of building and developing the country and Hai Phong city; difficulties and challenges in promoting the strength of youth in the cause of building and developing the country and Hai Phong city; creative and effective solutions in various fields to continue promoting the role and responsibility of Hai Phong youth in the process of building and developing Hai Phong city to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern.

The workshop is an important scientific forum for union members and young people to exchange knowledge and share experiences on promoting the role and responsibility of young people in the process of building and developing the country and Hai Phong city, contributing to the realization of Resolution 45-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2019 of the Politburo.
