The 72nd session of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XV

(sonla.gov.vn) On the morning of December 8, 2025, Comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the 72nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to give opinions on the Draft Resolution of the People's Council, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on personnel work at the Committees of the Provincial People's Council. Attending the meeting were Comrade Vi Duc Tho, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Nguyen Viet Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee; representatives of the Committees of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting gave opinions on the submission and draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong from the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XV, 2021 - 2026, due to him being elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of full-time Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; the draft Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the dismissal of Ms. Tong Thi Lan Huong from the position of Deputy Head of the Cultural - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the approval of Ms. Cam Van Khiem from the position of Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026. After discussion and consensus, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council voted to approve the submissions and draft Resolutions at the meeting.

Comrade Vi Duc Tho, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, opinions were also given on the draft Notice of assignment of tasks of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Term XV, 2021 - 2026; Work Program of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council in 2026. Submission of the Provincial People's Council Office on adjusting the recovery and supplementing of non-autonomous funds in 2025.

Representatives of the Provincial People's Council Committees attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Lo Minh Hung requested the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to absorb the comments and contributions to complete the Notice of assignment of tasks. He requested the Office to complete it soon, ensuring specific assignment, clear assignment of tasks to effective implementation.
