The average score for Chemistry this year is 6.06, and nationwide there were 625 perfect scores (10 points), with no candidates receiving a score of 0 in this subject.
Over 70,000 exam papers received below-average scores, accounting for 29.5%, a higher percentage than last year. Meanwhile, nearly 34% of the papers scored 7 or higher.

In the 2025 High School Graduation Examination, Chemistry has nearly 247,000 registered candidates, of which nearly 242,000 are taking the exam under the new general education program.
Unlike English and Math, the Chemistry exam in the recent exam was commented by candidates and teachers as not too difficult, many candidates were able to do well on the exam.
Chemistry teachers commented that the 2025 High School Graduation Exam followed the new direction in line with the 2018 General Education Program, designed to assess capacity, increase application and high application requirements, and ensure reasonable differentiation.

The test consists of 28 questions, including 3 parts: Multiple choice test (18 questions); True/false test (4 questions); Short answer test (6 questions). Candidates take the test in 50 minutes.

At 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (July 16), candidates nationwide will be announced the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. After the exam results are available, if candidates still have concerns, they can submit a request for re-evaluation to be re-graded by the examiner. The deadline for receiving re-evaluation papers is 10 days from the date of announcement of exam scores.
