On the morning of November 29, Vice President Cevdez Yilmaz hosted the official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Presidential Palace.

Vice President Cevdez Yilmaz went to the parking lot to welcome and invite Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the Presidential Palace in the capital Ankara. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent greetings in Turkish. The two leaders introduced officials and leaders of ministries and sectors of the two countries before entering into a small meeting. The talks between Vice President Cevdez Yilmaz and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh took place in the presence of many high-ranking officials of the two countries.

After the talks, the two leaders are expected to witness the signing of cooperation documents and meet the press. The cooperation documents include: Letter of Intent on cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and Turkish Airlines; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two Diplomatic Academies; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of agriculture and forestry.

Previously, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, laid a wreath and visited the mausoleum of late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Writing in the guestbook at the mausoleum, the Prime Minister expressed his emotion at visiting President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the outstanding politician , military man and scholar, the first president of the Republic of Turkey. "The relics and images of the president's life and career have helped us understand more deeply his great contributions to the continuous rise and development of the country and people of Turkey," the Prime Minister said.

The Head of the Vietnamese Government affirmed that Vietnam and Turkey share many similarities in the history of fighting for independence and building the country. Therefore, the Prime Minister expressed his belief that the precious legacies left by the late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk will continue to be inherited and promoted by generations of Turkish leaders and people. This will contribute to building a prosperous and beautiful Turkey; constantly fostering the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Turkey for the prosperity of the two peoples, for peace and development of the region and the world.
