The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Le Chan Ward launched a movement to raise funds to repair the "Great Unity" house for two families in difficult circumstances.

On the morning of December 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Le Chan Ward held a groundbreaking ceremony for the "Great Unity" house repair projects for households in especially difficult circumstances in the ward.

The cases receiving support this time are Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh Chung's family, No. 8A/58 Nguyen Duc Canh and Mrs. Phung Thi Kien's family, No. 15/143 Hai Ba Trung.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh Chung's family currently lives in a house with an area of ​​29.6 m2. Mr. Chung has had two work accidents, his health is unstable, he works as a motorbike taxi driver to earn extra income; his wife washes dishes for a living, raising two school-age children, life is difficult.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has mobilized donations to repair the "Great Unity" house for Mr. Chung's family up to now, reaching 53 million VND, of which the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward - Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee supported 30 million VND.

Mrs. Phung Thi Kien’s family is currently living in a dilapidated house, built in 1974, with an area of ​​27.1 m2, with a leaky, leaky corrugated iron roof. Mrs. Kien is old, weak, has no pension, and earns a living by washing dishes for restaurants.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has mobilized donations to repair the "Great Unity" house for Mrs. Phung Thi Kien's family up to now, reaching 66.1 million VND, of which the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward - Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee supported 30 million VND.

Supporting house repairs for households in difficult circumstances is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, not only helping families reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives, but also demonstrating noble gestures, solidarity and affection of all levels, sectors and the community.
